The Annual General Meeting of Viking SC will take place on Thursday 27th October 2016. The meeting will take place in Ballyfermot Sports & Fitness Centre at 7.30pm.
The AGM is a very important event in the life of the Club, and we hope to have as many families as possible represented at the meeting. Details of the procedures for the structure of the Committee and election of Committee members are detailed in our Club Handbook, which has been distributed to members, an electronic copy of which is also available for viewing on the website Membership page. At the upcoming AGM, the following Officer positions need to be filled, as the current incumbents will be standing down.
We invite parents interested in putting themselves forward for these positions to notify a committee member at least 7 days in advance of the meeting (latest 20th October). As discussed at the recent Parents Meetings, we hope to elect a Secretary, and 3 Deputy Secretaries (one for each squad, Minnows, Juniors and Seniors).
Any parents interested in putting themselves forward for non-Officer positions should also notify a Committee member by 20th October.
The Club relies on the support of volunteer parents to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently. We ask for your support by attending the AGM, and volunteering to work on the Committee.
